My theory is Turbo Granny left the group because she knew exactly who Count Saint-Germain was and what he was planning to do (she called him Hyper Geezer when she saw him at the end of the intergalactic battle, and seemed enraged). She knows he will steal the powers of everyone in the gang, including Okarun, who has already been tricked into admitting defeat to him in the hallway, so she’s laying low until the right moment so she can return, loan her powers to Okarun again, and face Saint-Germain one on one.

Good point. I’ve been wondering if she’s going to learn that she’s truly not herself anymore… that maybe since Okarun is more athletic, thanks to all of that physical exertion during combat not to mention the workout routine that Granny Seiko gave him, Turbo Granny is gonna learn that Okarun has absorbed some of her power within his own body. All that is left is for him to transform.

At this point, it’d be funny if they beat a bad guy and then when his backstory gets revealed, we learn that, no, he’s just always been an unrepentant POS.

I guess that’s why “the Noble Villain Trope” is always throughout manga/anime, it plays on the heartstrings and gives you something to think about. Besides… Mr. & Mrs. Salaryman, kinda remind me of a 40+ Okrarun & Momo from the future… with balding, middle-aged spread & all. 😀
