That said, how interesting. Wasn’t Murakami one of St. Germain’s minions? If so, why did Adachi-sensei want to steal his powers? If not, how comes that the girls were attacked by him and the boys by St. Germain’s minions?
Talking about that, now is the turn of the boys. Let’s see if Sakata is able to fight against a female adversary and if a powerless Ken is able to defeat a yokai-powered bully.-
My guess? You know how the guy who attacked Seiko at the restaurant said that messages go out to all of them so they can end up overlapping? Plus, it seems like there’s likely a general “seek and retrieve powers” order, beyond specific targets. And the people given the knives don’t know not only St. Germain’s identity, but also not each other’s. So you could have some of his minions stealing abilities from other minions because they don’t know they’re working for the same guy. You could also have some of them steal from each other even knowing their working for the same guy, if they think they might be able to use those powers or prove to St. Germain that they are a better servant and thus more worthy of having their wish granted. He might even be encouraging it on some level to filter out the weak and find out which of the people he’s using are the best elite folks he can really make use of for some future part of his plan. Also, she might just have stolen it because he was about to SA her and she just wasn’t going to take that lightly.
